Today the Whitney installs Lawrence Weiner's piece on their building's exterior. I was relieved to see this text instead of some of his other typical witticisms, such as "2 blocks of salt / In the morning mist." He sees his work as visual sculptures and until now (having just seen black type on white gallery walls) I remained unconvinced. Go ahead!
